Shipping

Physical products will be shipped within a minimum of 1 to 3 business days from the close of the day that an order is processed. Shipping times may take longer depending on geographic region of the customer. Shipping charges are variable and automatically calculated at checkout based on the customer’s shipping address.

Samak Press is not responsible for damage incurred to products during shipping. We take measures to package books and other fragile merchandise in protective packaging and will replace products rendered defective through extensive damage. Slight damage such as minor bends or creases will not be eligible for refunds or exchanges.

Digital downloads

Customers who purchase an eBook are sent a link to a downloadable ePub file. The file is sent in an order confirmation email to the email address provided at checkout.

eBooks are non-refundable purchases since a file cannot be retrieved once it is sent to the customer.

Author Services

Author services will be scheduled with client in a follow up call or email within one business day after a service is purchased. Completion of purchased service will depend upon the length of the manuscript submitted to Samak Press and the type of service purchased (e.g. editing, proofreading, writing).

Customers who purchase editing or proofreading services for one category (e.g. short story, novella, short novel, long novel) and deliver a manuscript with a word count that purposely exceeds the category’s specified word count parameters are required to pay additional prorated fees determined by Samak Press before editing or proofreading begins. Failure to pay additional fees within 48 hours following notification via email will result in termination of non-refundable service.

All editing and proofreading services are non-refundable due to the time required for Samak Press editors and proofreaders to complete these services. Refund requests stemming from dissatisfaction with editorial feedback will not be honored. Refunds will only be considered if service is not completed within specified time agreed to by Samak Press and the customer following original purchase of service.

Book description writing and book ad writing services will include one free round of revision of initial copy at the customer’s request. Customers will be charged for any additional revisions beyond that initial round Refund requests over dissatisfaction with final written product will not be honored. Refunds will only be considered if service is not completed within specified time agreed to by Samak Press and the customer following original purchase of service.

Comments and Reviews

Customers who use derogatory or abusive language in their comments or reviews of Samak Press products, services, and blog posts will have their accounts terminated and be blocked from making further comments or reviews.

Hate speech and bullying in any form will not be tolerated on this site.
